José González is coming to Kuwait!

3

Jose Gonzalez, one of our favorite sombre folkies, is coming to Kuwait. REUSE 4.0 is clocking him in between his Australian and European tour with his new band Junip to stop over in Kuwait City for a one night only show at the environmentally conscious exhibition. His show will be of his solo material from both his albums, Veneer and In Our Nature, which are Loft965.com favorites. The show will take place in the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK).

Let’s hope we hear some new songs alongside classics like “Heartbeats,” “Crosses” and the impeccable cover of Kylie Minogue’sHand On Your Heart.” Click below for more information on how to buy the tickets for the January 11th show.

Ad for Mariah Carey’s MGM concert!

Notice how the didn’t use the “Dreamlover” video when the song came on but instead opted for the “It’s Like That” video to keep things current and happening. As Mariah is one of our favorite creatures on earth, she is not one of our favorite live acts we have to say. Not because she can’t deliver, because she just stands there and makes it hotter than a thousand Madonna backflips. But, it’s because Mariah’s shows are very single-heavy and rarely different. This time, the only nice addition would have to be “Subtle Invitation,” which we love!

Mariah Carey embarks on her “Angels Advocate” tour

Our favorite diva has started the tour for her new album in Atlantic City. The set list starts off with the forgotten surprise of a track “Daydream Interlude.” The tour is not heavy on new material and revisits all the classics like “Hero” and “Emotions” which is great for concert-goers, but not hardcore fans. blwIt’s been a great years for reunions, from Take That’s success to Blur reuniting for 2009. I have always liked them and I am currently listening to “Parklife” non-stop. The band has a concert date for 2009 that sold out in 2 minutes! I hope an album comes with it.
