VV Brown is still trying to break the markets with her half-hit “Shark In The Water.” She is one of the artist that got much hype around her arrival to the pop world, but didn’t really deliver. Not working.
Being excited about V.V. Brown’s debut album proved that most artists today are more hype than content. I was so happy to get it because I thought it was going to have enough hits to last me the rest of the year. But, it turns out that it is really a lackluster, over-produced piece of, dare I say, rubbish. The bestest song on there is “Shark In The Water,” which is really not all that and a big of crisps if you ask me. the problem is that everything is direct and straight-to-your-face. They concentrated on the beats but not the melody. It’s loud, but without a punch. Like Yoko Ono record. Travelling Like The Light is a real disappointment. Evem Little Boots Hands. was better.
