Kylie Minogue has received threats via Twitter and she isn’t taking it sitting down. She said a “deluded weirdo” contacted her.
I love 1,033,861 of you LOVERS, but 1 is not a lover, just a deluded weirdo making threats #andthatdoesnotmakeyouspecial SO..police alerted— kylie minogue (@kylieminogue) February 06, 2012
Apparently this is not the first time the singer has been threatened. According to The Inquisitr.com, in 2003, Minogue reportedly received several threatening letters to her home.

Sam Sparro has a new album coming our soon called Return To Paradise. It’s been a while since he hit it big last, but the buzz singles like “Pink Cloud” and “Yous A Nasty” are even better than the previous singles, which is why we are so excited for this project!
Madonna’s album is getting prepped for a 2012 release. You know, the album that would support a tour, not the other way around. There were rumors circulating around of a leaked track list that exposed Madonna’s new album to be titled LUV, however, now we learn that that has changed. Madonna’s twelfth album is called…
The drama continues. The original line-up of the Sugababes (the way we liked them) are back together according to a few not-so-mysterious tweets here and there, allegedly. The two ladies who have active twitter accounts – Mutya and Keisha – have both tweeted that they are in the studio with two other ladies. Hmmm. This is not rocket science as the girls have expressed discontent with what has happen with “their” band. And to us, the band has totally jumped the shark after Keisha left. Let’s hope we hear from the original line up real soon!
Hanging out in the studio with @professorgreen and two lovely ladies with bags of talent :-p lol— Keisha Buchanan (@keisha_buchanan) January 05, 2012
Twitter’s #1 trending topic worldwide right now is Jon Bon Jovi. The rumor is that the “Chelsea Girl” singer is dead. No news yet that is official and a part of us feels like some people could have phonetically mistake the lead singer of Bon Jovi with Kim Jong Il. Maybe? What do you think. I hope he didn’t pass away.
UPDATE: He’s not.
Me 2! Can't believe Jon Bon Jovi is DEAD! He was such a sweetheart in real life! RT @doronofircast: I am devastated! fb.me/1eJFI3ais— Lizza Monet Morales (@xoxoLizza) December 19, 2011
Nelly Furtado is ready to unleash a new English album with a two-year long tour. Great news as we wanted something from her for a while and MiPlan didn’t quench our thirst. Also, it’s not called Lifestyle as previously reported. She tweeted:
It's official: Album out for summer. and I'll be out on the road promoting it for at least 2 years cuz I love it!— Nelly Furtado (@NellyFurtado) December 07, 2011
We are still in love with Nicola Roberts’ visual image. It’s really taken care of nicely and adds a nice sentiment to the overall feel of the album Cinderella’s Eyes. Let’s hope this song does better the its predecessor.
Apparently, M.I.A. has allegedly informed all that Madonna has summoned her to come to New York City to work with her and Nicki Minaj. Some say that it will be for the single rework of “Give Me All Your Love,” which is stolen from Nicola Roberts’ “Beat Of My Drum,” if you ask us. Other says its for the remixes of the song. At any rate, we are glad that Madonna is stealing from M.I.A. because she might as well steal from greats. At any rate, we hope she doesn’t suck her soul. Click here to read more.
Watch out for the new beats of 2012. Lianne La Havas is a great new talent that sounds and feels like a merger between Corinne Bailey Rae and Norah Jones without the pretense. Her sound is raw and sombre. She takes bluesy folk into a contemporary dimension, very much in the Ane Brun sense. She is a child of the Instagram generation. The young (only 21) damsel has just signed to major label Warner Music and she will be making waves next year, although she has garnered quite a following on Twitter and Facebook. More to come from this lovely newcomer.
At the red carpet Alanis Morissette has explained that she has been hard at work on a new album. She, in fact, has more than 30 songs at hand and will pick a third or so of them to make an album that will come out sometime in mid-2012. That’s great news for fans of Alanis, who have been waiting for her endlessley to release something new. This will be her 8th album! Click below to watch the interview.
1. Greetings from Kuwait! Loft965.com picked your album It All Starts With One as an “Album to look forward to in 2011.” How do you feel about that and what do you think this year holds for you?
I’m very proud and happy to hear that! I hope that as many people as possible will hear this album, because I’m very happy with it. I’m going to do my best to spread my music around the world.
2. The first single “Do You Remember?” is a different sound from your other singles. What inspired this direction and what’s behind the song?
The demo for this song is me playing a bass line on one string of a guitar. It’s a kind of melancholic love folk song, and this rhythm was already there in the bass line. But we decided to make it bigger, and we invited 3 drummers to the studio. I felt like making a production where you just can’t stand still. I hope everyone wants to move to it.
3. You recently toured with Ani DiFranco, whom we love here at Loft965.com, how did you find the experience and should we look forward to more collaborations in the future?
Ani DiFranco is a very lovely woman, and I’m a big fan of hers. She was my main inspiration when I first started playing guitar 12 years ago. I loved doing the gigs with her, and playing for her audience, and I hope that I can do it again in the future.
4. What will be the next single from It All Starts With One and why did you choose it?
We chose “Worship” as the next single from the album. I love José Gonzales’ voice and I love this recording. It’s a bit hypnotizing.
5. We love quotes, what is your favorite quote or motto?
“As a creative person, in all the different things that I’ve done or ways that I’ve found to express myself, I’ve consistently come up against resistance in certain areas. I think that the world is not comfortable with female sexuality. It’s always coming from a male point of view, and a woman is being objectified by a man — and even women are comfortable with that. But when a woman does it, ironically, women are uncomfortable with it. I think a lot of that has to do with conditioning.”
Adam Lambert might not have won American Idol, but he is doing better than the ones who have (hello, Rubben Studdard). The glam icon is back with a new album following his successful debut and live CD. The sophomore full-lengther is going to be called…
The fact that @Beyonce registered a Twitter account yet hasn't ever used it makes me wonder if she will ever cross over to the digital age.— Nasser AlQatami (@nasque) November 14, 2011
1. Greetings from Kuwait! Loft965.com picked “Phakade” and “Mali” as a “Sexy Tracks” of 2011! How do you feel about that and what do you think the rest of the year holds for you?
Amazing, I did not expect that the African songs would resonate but I think this is very exciting! Thank you! I’m going to spend the rest of the year taking advantage of Southern African Festival season so that I can reach more fans.
2. As of now, “Mali” is constantly on our stereos! Will it ever get released as a single?
It is currently one of our singles in South Africa.
3. You just released an EP for your American audience. Are you planning on launching your new album there and when will it be?
I’m planning to launch a full album titled Rise Again in early 2012 and then follow it up with a tour from the end of January. The album is a combination of tracks from Feel Good, Soul in Mind but mainly containing new tracks from my Return to Love album.
4. Are you going on tour? What will be your next single?
Yes my tour will span over the entire North America and it will be 60 days long!
5. We love quotes, what is your favorite quote or motto?
I post so many on my twitter and facebook page periodically. My favourite one from this week is “Jealousy is the art of counting someone else’s blessings instead of your own.”
Melanie C is rolling those videos out really fast for The Sea. This song, “Weak,” is one of the tracks from the album that has been mentioned as a standout in many reviews. It comes as no surprise that it’s a single choice of hers. Here’s the teaser for the video treatment.
Too bad. Monica’s new eagerly-awaited album has been pushed back. She has clarifies on Twitter: “I wanna thank u for your love, dedication & support.. RCA & I are restructuring the entire plan for the album & the entire movement. I refuse to not give the music that those of you who have supported me deserve, creative things take time because they cant be planned.”
