Fourth album underway, Vanessa Carlton is now independent and she will do whatever music she wants to and you can tell this festival-morning music and her signature piano playing is doing here. We want to hear more.
Darling video from a talent we know little about. We’ll google her.
At a Pride rally in Nashville, Tenn., June 19, Vanessa Carlton announced she was happily bisexual. This is the first time the singer publicly announced her sexuality, saying, “I’ve never said this before, but I am a proud bisexual woman.”
Carlton is most notable for walking those thousands of miles and crooning over teenage angst and white houses, with her last album, Heroes & Thieves, released in 2007.
Vanessa Amorosi became popular for her song “Absolutely Everybody” back in 1999. She continues being popular back in her home of Australia with a couple of albums and single. She has just had her first number 1 single. It is also the first single by an Aussie female singer to debut at #1 since Kylie’s last one. Her album is called Hazardous and this is from it.
Just when you thought she was going to be an eternal queen bitch on Ugly Betty, she releases this jazzy vocal pop album that just make you just want to love it even when the cover looks disgustingly adult contemporary that Natalie Cole would say not to it. I just got it and listen to “I Fell In” and I fell in.
She’s back to music and this time she is going for a more sultry sound. Her album is called The Real Thing, which sounds nauseatingly Lopezian. It’s coming out June 4th.
