Video Premiere: “Black, White & Blue” by Ladyhawke
We didn’t expect such a prim and proper video from New Zealand’s Ladyhawke. This is the new single from her second album Anxiety, it’s not too far of a stretch from her sound, but it is a pretty song, almost verging on Goldfrapp territory.
Video Premiere: “Elephant” by Alexandra Burke
Alexandra Burke is on her sophomore era and she better bring it. The British neodiva is ready to take it on and this sound is a great mixture between R&B and current dance formula popularized by David Guetta. It’s a strong track, the video’s OK.
Video Premiere: “Better Than I Know Myself” by Adam Lambert
1Adam Lambert’s back to his Middle-America MOR balderdash. This might do well for Kelly Clarkson, but not him. Let’s hope there are better track on the album Trespassing.
Video Premiere: “Too Good To Lose” by Rebecca Ferguson
This song is quickly shaping up to be one of the best tracks of the season. The video is airy and breezy, too. It reminds us of Heather Small. The sound, that is.
Video Premiere: “Turn Me On” by David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj
Video Premiere: “The Bad In Each Other” by Feist

The second single from Feist’s new album Metals comes in film form. As she explained to SPIN magazine: “When I approached Martin to make a little film for this song, he told me he thought it sounded like a battle cry. And that he wondered about finding the little, tiny wars people experience in between the big dramas. I interpreted that to mean, all the quiet internal battles that guide our actions, all the hopes and struggles we suppress or let carry us away. I feel like he’s made a sort of symphony of In Betweens and stretched split seconds into feel-able, graspable echoes.”

Lana Del Rey to re-release “Lizzy Grant” album!
Lana Del Rey is blowing up faster than a balloon in volatile conditions. So much so that her abandoned first album is getting a release album. Yes, that’s her pre-fillers. The pictures are a little less flattering than her new carefully-constructed look. This little album is getting a release date sometime this year following Born To Die, which just came out. She said: “People act like it’s so shrouded in mystery, the ‘forgotten terrible album’. But if you look on YouTube, all thirteen tracks are available with millions of views, so it’s not like no-one’s heard them. We were all proud of it. It’s pretty good.”
Video Premiere: “Tomorrow” by The Cranberries
1We are not sure how to digest this comeback, especially after Dolores’s failed solo efforts, but we will give it the time of day someday, on a plane, when the battery on the iPad is low and there’s no in-flight entertainment.
