You just got punked.
You just got punked.
Now we understand why Prince believes that artists should ask the songwriter before covering songs. What in the world does Miley Cyrus know about the depth of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
An introduction is coming up this week on Omar Afuni, a talented young singer and songwriter that is taking YouTube by storm. But, this is just a little teaser of his capabilities. We have to say this is better than Xtina’s version.
After the huge success of Version, Mark Ronson is ready to show a more original side to him. His new album is called Record Collection and its set for a September release. This is the first single off of it. It has a tint of 90s’ break beat that is muchly missed.
They had to pick Shakira to represent Africa? Why? is Africa short of beautiful women with great voices? Lira should have done this and if she doesn’t open the games then this is just an African event by name, at least for us music fans who don’t give two shits about football.
The third single from The Fame Monster and Lady Gaga’s favorite track “Alejandro” is set to grace the internet any time today. “The Gaga camp has allegedly just announced that the video for the third single from The Fame Monster, “Alejandro,” will début to the world on May 25th, 2010. That’s this Tuesday. We still think the song sounds like Ace Of Base’s remake of “Don’t Turn Around.” But, as with Gaga, the video will be fabulous and it stars Mr. Walliams of Little Britain fame. Also, Lady Gaga is showing some nipple action and frolicking with a snake. A two-eyed one. Let’s hope for the bestest!” Yeah, we did all of this to tease the shit out of you, what do you think?
What a sight!

RuPaul’s Drag U is produced by World of Wonder, who has created a number of hit series including Tori & Dean: Inn Love, Million Dollar Listing, and Fantasia for Real.
Melanie Fiona is still well on her campaign of promoting her debut album with the Alicia Keys tour being the highlight and this single carrying on the album’s airplay and videoplay. Although we think there are stronger tracks on the album, this will do well in some genre charts.
This music video was recorded in Vancouver, Canada by Film maker Tama Gempton with a 16mm Bolex camera. “Cry Wolf” is the single from Sarah’s album Across the Atlantic.
The new single is “Easy” and this is the video for it. We like “Liar” a lot, but we don’t think this is a bad choice from Fixin’ To Thrill.
Laura Marling’s gone a little twangy on her sophomore album and its all not too bad. I Speak Because I Can is shaping up to be one of the best albums of 2010.
Former Hole and Smashing Pumpkins member tries solo.
Alexandra Burke (or her record company) have/has decided to release “All Night Long” as the third single from her album Overcome. “Why” you ask? Well, to put it plainly, because Pitbull is hot right now and they want to jump on that bandwagon. But, if you ask me, “Dumb” deserves a release as it is a standout.
