More high quality stills from Beyonce and Lady GaGa’s video “Telephone”

In bid to stop the little monsters from getting angry for the delay of the video. Some stills from the video featuring never-before-seen bits have surfaced in the blogosphere. They are all aesthetically pleasing especially the one with cans as rollers. Click below for the GaGa pictures.

Lady GaGa and Beyonce’s video for “Telephone” postponed!

Yes, this will make many little monsters unhappy, but the video for “Telephone” featuring Woman Of The Decade Beyonce has been pushed back. The video was supposed to surface yesterday but a message on GaGa’s website said it ain’t so with now future release date. They just urged the fans to keep checking back to know when it will make a debut.

Lady GaGa gives tribute to Alexandar McQueen at Brit Awards

Lady GaGa has allegedly been very fussy about her appearance on the Brit Awards that the organizers are fed up with her and replaced her 9-minute time slot with Cheryl Cole with a smaller timeframe. As if that is not enough, GaGa allegedly got a Rolls Royce for her performance of “Poker Face” which would segue to “Telephone,” but now has opted for a more toned down performance after Alexander McQueen’s death, whom she was a great fan of. She is now rumored to perform a sad stripped-down version of “Bad Romance.”

Rupaul’s Drag Race premiere

1

One of the best shows on TV, RuPaul’s Drag Race, debuts in its second season today on Logo. The hype is building up and we can’t help but find out who the winner is. They all look very catty and fun to be around. Let’s hope Logo puts the episode on once it’s finished airing in the US. Exciting!

Premiere: Video: “Angels Cry” by Mariah Carey

1

This is the second installation of the double-A side combo. The two tracks are supposed to satisfy both markets – Hip Hop and Adult Contemporary. We wish Mariah had put more effort into this video. It’s looks like a merging of “One Sweet Day” with “Through The Rain.” It’s just not happening at all even if we are hardcore lambs. Angels Advocate better have some surprises in store.

Premiere: Video: “Love Like This” by Natalie Bassingthwaighte

The fifth single from Natalie’s #1 Gold selling album 1000 Stars. Nat recently teamed up with ACON, a health promotion organization with a central focus on HIV/AIDS, to help with their current campaign called Wear It With Pride. The video was produced by Saachi & Saachi to help create awareness of the campaign. The single is available for download from Jan 29th, 2010. Click here to purchase.

Jimmy Kimmel destroys Jay Leno

Seriously, we have no sympathy for Jay Leno and what he has done. His little diplomacy scheme to kick Conan O’Brien out, to weasel himself into something he had already promised to give. It just shows how inconsiderate and ultimately arrogant he is. Anyway, Conan is the voice of a new generation and NBC would be doing wrong to bring the old dog and the old tricks all at once.

Natalie Merchant to release new album in March!

Since The House Carpenter’s Daughter was released in 2003 Natalie Merchant has been absent. We had the great privilege of seeing her live at Boston Pop a while back, but she only perform 4 songs and only one from her previous albums. Imagine! But, we love her to death as she is one of the greatest singers/songwriters of our generation and indie artists need as much support as they can. The new album will be out in March and it will be called Leave Your Sleep. She will follow that with a return to Lilith Fair. It’s the mid-90s’ all over again! Check out the above video to get a snippet of her great career.

Premiere: Video: “Brothersport” by Animal Collective

Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavilion is one of the most experimental and delightful albums of 2009. It’s a muddle, but it’s strong. It will make every hipster cry “Yes!” We liked its sonic confidence. This is the colorful new video to its new, dare we say, single.

Premiere: Video: “Amazing Grace” by Boy George

2

Chaining Norwegian rent boys to walls aside, Boy George is a pretty good musician. Whether he is with his band The Culture Club or solo, he’s always managed to churn up some good quality tunes like “The Crying Game,” “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?” We also loved his album U Can Never B2 Straight with the Spanish-tinted song “She Was Never He.” Anyway, he’s back now to full glam dance with this collaboration with fado singer Ana Lains.

Premiere: Video: “The Climb” by Joe McElderry

Ah, the Miley Cyrus gets a mom remix. And the video of his “uphill battle” to becoming the next holder of the Christmas album only to fizzle out into oblivion after a couple of album once simon Cowell finds another cash cow. The song’s really a bad choice. We can’t believe this, but Miley would sound better if we had heard her version of the song. Seriously, if we won X-Factor we would refuse to cover this song!
