When you put all the radio powerhouses you will, of course, get a hit, at least stateside, even if its utter shit.

Premiere: Video: “Jump Up In The Air (Stay There)” by Erykah Badu featuring Lil Wayne
Erykah Badu is back in the game with this number that is bound to bring in the numbers as Lil Wayne is in it. The song gets the psychedelic video treatment. Its a cute video and very well recession-budgeted. The idea is nothing new but it compliments the song very well.

Download: Erykah Badu’s “Window Seat” leaked, album cancelled?
1Erykah Badu has previously vowed not to release the album should anything after her collaboration with Lil Wayne “Jump Up In The Air And Stay There” leaks. Now the first single, which saw the arrival of its artwork to the blogosphere recently, has leaked in its full quality all over the internet. We hope that Erykah Badu releases New Amerykah, Part 2: The Return Of The Ankh and doesn’t forbid us from some smooth sultry beats.
Update: Good news. Erykah Badu leaked it herself on her twitter account. So, the album’s still coming. And, it’s a guilt-free fully legal download.

3Preview of Shakira’s “Give It Up To Me” featuring Lil’ Wayne
She’s mixing up the single sequence and she hasn’t given “Did It Again” a time to breathe yet. This is probably one of the weakest singles Shakira has ever released and it is an obvious plea to tap the hip hop market. It’s not working.
Shakira performs “Give It Up To Me” on David Letterman
1The performance is just awkward and the song is horrid. She should have done “Did It Again” or “Gypsy.” Even “She Wolf” would have been better. This album has some great songs and completely bad ones. Nothing in the middle.
Madonna and Lil’ Wayne’s “Revolver” leaked
1Madonna’s second studio track on her tired old compilation of greatest hits Celebration has leaked in full-length. It’s called “Revolver” and it features it-boy rapper Lil’ Wayne. Oh, and it sounds like (and probably is) a Hard Candy reject. Yes, it is that bad! In fact, it’s a contender for worst song of the year. We wish they had Razzies for music. She’d be bagging a few.
