No matter what the budget is, Will Young always manages to make a good video. We didn’t think this would be a single as we are still waiting for “Runaway” to be released and we are growing to love “Happy Now.” Oh, and also “Good Things.” Okay, we love the whole album. Still, Echoes is as fresh as the day it was released. Get it!

Sexy Track: “Runaway” by Will Young

1

So, we shrugged off Will Young’s Echoes not because we don’t have faith in him, but because we had and influx new music to sift through. But, once we got to the album it reminded us of why we fell in love with his work and why we still think he is one of the few good things to come out of reality TV. This song in particular is an undiscovered gem on his fifth album. It’s a breezy dance track with an 80s’ synth flavor and soulful vocals. Will Young is not stranger to this brand of soul. It’s a very UK thing to take great things from American soul and implement them with timely arrangement. The songs encourages flight and is very apt for those who suffer from wanderlust. It’s just very laid-back classic Will Young. This should be the next single after “Come On” if his record company’s ears are open.

Must-Watch: Video Premiere: “Come On” by Will Young

1

This is as fresh as they come. This video just debuted and Loft965.com is bringing it to you first! Will Young’s new album, which we really haven’t given the time it needs to listen to, Echoes has spawned another single and it features a dog show!

Will Young to release fifth album “Echoes” soon!

1

Although he has disappeared for a bit with his “Greatest Hits” stint, he is back to making new music for all of us to enjoy one of the last great British blue-eyed soul mistresses. This is the fifth album of his, now prolific, career. He’s looking a little older on the cover, but this could either be him aging or a sign of maturity, which is every albums selling point these days, isn’t it? Let’s hope there’s more good pop to come from this crooner.

Will Young enters the Billboard Charts!

2

Using “Leave Right Now” as a closer to American Idol’s worse season number 9 proved somewhat fruitful for Will Young. His made-for-US album of the same title has entered the Heatseekers chart and the single sits at number 81. Well, he didn’t exactly break the US market but he managed to make a little dent, although the song deserves much more than #81!

Groove Armada collaborate with Will Young

2

Can we just tell you how much we love it when Will Young goes into falsetto all of a sudden. This is what is happening on this sexilicious track. Yet another scrumptious effort from the return of Groove Armada. Black Light seems to a be a promising album.
