This is the one some of you have been waiting a long time for. After too many a-dosage of pop and soul, the sombre and more acoustic sister has reared its head. Iberone is for the sullen boys and girls. An ode for the Autumn times. The tracks are more rock-based and folk-tinted. The girls of here take music very seriously and pen their lyrics in detail and emotion. It’s one of those mixes you play when you are doing something on the computer or cooking a friend or loved one a big bowl of pasta and/or uncorking a bottle of Pinot Noir. We’ve been holding of this news (mainly because we were counting lemurs in the jungle of Madagascar) but also because we wanted to do some research on it. But, this picture of Mariah Carey with studio-guru Bryan-Michael Cox certifies all the claims that MC is back in the studio with a bunch of producers including Jermaine Dupri and working on some really new and sexy material. After being criticized for her last album and tour Mariah is ready to bring on another emancipation to put every little starlet back in her place (including Madonna). We are excited for this news as new material from MC is guaranteed to be good material. At any rate, let’s hope it’s more of the good stuff and click below of her video in the studio with JD.

Jewish settler throws wine at a Palestinian woman

As if being displaced, oppressed and having your land and national identity taken away from you, this douche-lord thought it was a blast to pour some wine over a helpless Palestinian pedestrian walking in Hebron a land considered holy by both Muslims and Jews. Yes, this little prick thought it would be appropriate to assault a woman that looks twice his age with a liquid prohibited in her beliefs. This is just an image that was taken, there’s no saying on what the Palestinians have to go through when the camera are not there or when the western press refuses to publish something. Had this woman not been a Palestinian woman this would be all over the news. Sad, sad overlooking of human rights.

Falling Feather wines

Apart from Northwestern Reisling, American wines, especially red, are our least favorite. But, Falling Feather seems to have changed that. Aside from the fact that it is beautifully packaged, this Californian product is low on histamine and tannins, which means you are less likely to develop a headache. Lovely package, don’t you think?

A Swedish beverage company has come up with a new way of packaging wine without taking into consideration wine’s archaic design of bottling. Åkesson has come of with an eco-friendly, disposable way of markting wine with thick paper and not a box. It looks like your average orange juice packaging but there’s a lot of detail into it. What a novel idea for an age-old problem. Fill your glass only once and throw away the decanter. Here’s what the had to say about it: “it is a glass for drinking a lot. a device consists of a bulb shaped container with the glass below. when the amount in the glass decreases, a constant amount is poured from the tank into the glass. never overflowing from the glass because of air pressure and water pressure.” Click here.

Vodka to come in pill form

Oh, happy day. Yes, alcohol is going to come in a “dry form.” They will come in pills. Yes, not only Vodka, but scientists at a Russian university (of all places) will be able to turn vodka, whiskey, congac, wine and beer into pills. Although we enjoy the taste of wine and beer, it’s still a great prospect as the pills, at least in this region, will be easier to smuggle in that a whole old rusty bottle of Red Label, which is disgusting in taste and feeling. At any rate, it’s a good day and science continues to benefit the liberals. And if you have a problem with what we are saying, this is for you: “If the ocean was made of vodka and I were a duck, I would swim to the bottom and never come up. But since the ocean isn’t vodka and I’m not a duck, just hand me the bottle and shut the fuck up.”

Suspicious tenants: A Kuwaiti man was shocked on learning that his tenant, a compatriot woman who was living with her British friend, was brewing liquor and practicing sorcery, reports Al-Anba daily. 
The Kuwaiti landlord noticed water leaking from the ceiling of his house and was told that the pipe in the upper floor needs to be changed. As the upper floor house was closed for two weeks, he got the door broke open following which he found a barrel of brew and sorcery tools. 
The landlord also made the discovery that the woman had lied to him about her poor Arabic knowledge. She, however, vacated the house in exchange of a promise that the landlord won’t file a complaint against her.
