Joan As Police Woman readies up “The Deep Field”

The third of Joan As Police Woman‘s album is about to drop. Although we are still bitter that we can get our hands on her covers album, we are excited she will release new material because it’s been a while and who doesn’t like a sullen chanteuse. Joan Wasser’s The Deep Field is slated for a February 2011 release.

Jewish settler throws wine at a Palestinian woman

14

As if being displaced, oppressed and having your land and national identity taken away from you, this douche-lord thought it was a blast to pour some wine over a helpless Palestinian pedestrian walking in Hebron a land considered holy by both Muslims and Jews. Yes, this little prick thought it would be appropriate to assault a woman that looks twice his age with a liquid prohibited in her beliefs. This is just an image that was taken, there’s no saying on what the Palestinians have to go through when the camera are not there or when the western press refuses to publish something. Had this woman not been a Palestinian woman this would be all over the news. Sad, sad overlooking of human rights.

She said she want to create a fragrance that “no man can resist” and insists she has. She is in te middle of promoting her album Rated R so expect this to come after. The scent should be here sometime early 2010. Meanwhile, that frock is fantastical!

The Royal Mail has taken on music for their next batch of stamps set to debut in January. But, one things missing that no one reported on. From the 10 album covers selected, no a single one of them is buy a female artist. Surely all of the artists are from the UK and feature some great monumental albums such as The Clash’s London Calling and Blur’s Parklife (click below for full list), but not a single female artist? Not even Kate Bush’s The Red Shoes or something from Annie Lennox (not even the Eurythmics). Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black deserves a nod. It’s really just sad that all the Q-heads keep deciding what is credible and what is not with their music snobbery and knack for sexism.
