2Let’s face it. The new single is utter balderdash. But, what’s bugging me more than the single choice is her recent very diva-esque attitude. Who does she think she is? She has 3 full-length albums of original material under her sleeve and a bunch of unjustified hiatuses. At this rate the minute Lady Gaga would release her 2010 album, they’d be on the same scale, except Lady Gaga would have more number ones. And she is still talking smack about the Gaga. Don’t get us wrong, we understand how important Christina Aguilera was and still is to the pop world, but she needs to get her act together.

Christina Aguilera will attempt yet again to pick her horrible single “Not Myself Tonight” off of the floor. She’s performing on one of the shows with the highest ratings on American national television networks. So sad to say that, but even that exposure can’t save the shite single.

Finally, some actual big news from the Christina Aguilera camp. This, my friends, is the album cover for Xtina’s new album Bionic. It’s quite an image, if you ask us. She looks both vulnerable and robotic. But, as always, the typeface is just a hot mess and a half. Why is it dripping and why that font? Horrid! But, the image (if the black frame is not there) is very nice and well put together. Can’t wait to download the whole thing and listen to the collaborations. The video will be out sometimes by the end of the month. Yay!

The new ploy by Christina Aguilera’s camp is too much. It seems Christina Aguilera is taking herself way too seriously. She had announcement of big new to tell us that her new song has lyrics. Surprise. What would be? An instrumental track without melisma. Never! Anyway, the only good thing about this that the lyrics are of a slutty fugue. We like and hope the bit is dirrty. Light & Darkness is no longer the title for the album, which is better as it was a bit banal. Now, Aguilera tells allure magazine, which she will be gracing the cover of for February, that the album title is Bionic. It will feature a song of the same name and it will be preceded by an uptempo hip hop-ish number titled “Glam.” Another tracks rumored to be on the set are ”You Lost Me,” “Lullaby,” “Sex For Breakfast,” “Listen Up!” and “Monday Morning.” We love this pouring of Xtina news.

I am very excited that Christina Aguilera is coming this way. I am thinking of getting last minute tickets to go see her. Although I know she is not exactly promoting anything but a greatest hits collection and she does not put on the best shows out there. Plus, the microphone tapping gets annoying after a while. But, it’s still Xtina and even if her last single was deplorable, she is worth the 850 AED (61 KD) for “diamond” seating. The trick now is to persuade my friends to come with me. It’s going to be hard, especially that everyone is geared up to see Kylie in November.
